Quotes, Writing, and Thinking, Oh My!
Every parent wants their kid to be intelligent. I'm not talking about who's child knows the most decimals of Pi. I mean who can problem solve, have enough knowledge to one day have a career and help change the world for the better. Who knows, they might even run our county one day! You are in luck. This activity helps kids gain problem solving skills and think about how THEY can change the world. Follow these simple steps every day and you will see the difference in your child's writing and thinking skills.
5. Have them answer a thought provoking question related to the quote(I will have quotes and questions almost everyday.) If I don't post one or you don't want the one I post, Dictionary.com has plenty in their quote section.
6. Every few months you can review what your child wrote and see the progress before your eyes!
- Create a "Quote Journal"
- Let them decorate it so it becomes something they look forward to every morning
- Project the "Daily Quote" somewhere were it could be visible all day
- White board($1 at dollar store)
- Printer Paper
- chalk board(Chalk Board paint at craft stores and most Walmarts)
